One way the Igbo people define masculinity is based on how many wives they have and another way is to be nonemotional. Americans define masculinity on them doing the handy work around the house or just providing for the family. The Igbo culture (differences, similarity,) (women in igbo culture are treated as second class agree or disagree why?) (connection in your life include picture) NOT DUN!!!! SO I GOTTA GET 'ER DUN AT HOME!!!!

The novel we are reading is Things Fall Apart. My first impressions on this novel were negative. I thought the novel would be very boring, and hard to understand. I said boring because this is a new topic and I don't know anything about the Igbo. Then I said it would be hard to understand because I'm not aware of the language and their names are difficult to pronounce. In general, I feel the Igbo culture is unique and different in it's own way. They all have different and weird names such as, Okonkwo, Nwoye. Another thing thats different is that they can have more than one wife
